CHERYL SHIELDS
I have lived in Chula Vista since 2000. I am blessed to be married to Rob Shields for 17 years. Rob is a corporate defense attorney and a partner at Wilson Turner Kosmo. We are parents to
12-yr-old triplets (2 girls + 1 boy), who are all in their 7th year in the dual immersion program at Arroyo Vista Charter School.

In 2011, Rob & I founded non-profit, A Night to Remember Prom for students with special needs. Each year, 850 students from over 70 San Diego high schools attend this sold-out event.

In addition to our non-profit, I have been active for the past 7 years with PTA and have served as PTA President, Vice President, Secretary and Hospitality Chairs. I also substitute teach in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. I am an active member and serve biweekly with Middle School students at EastLake Church and also sings on the worship team and lead a women’s small group. I have also served several years as Team Mom with Eastlake Little League.

Our family loves to serve together. Serving is in our DNA of who we are as a family. You will usually see all of us at serving opportunities. I am proud to be a Rotarian and live by the motto service above self.
