Ruth is a survivor of three holocaust camps and came to the United States with no money but three things she needed to survive: Hope, Dream and Opportunity.  The one thing the Nazis could not take from her was her talent as she studied tailoring and clothing design. Her first job in San Diego was at 65 cents an hour, saving enough with her husband to bring her family over and starting a family business on Market St. in San Diego.  Later on her husband became a stockbroker and Ruth worked in a fabric store. As years went on, she cared for her mother in law, then her parents and five years ago she lost the love of her life.  Today with the help of her daughter, she advocates and reminds everyone that another Holocaust can never ever happen again.
