Many houses remain from San Diego’s past, ranging from mansions to cottages, from beach houses to farmhouses. Fellow Rotarian Eric Pahlke has photographed almost a hundred examples of the grace, beauty, and diversity of Victorian architecture. He also researched the histories of the county, cities, and communities that developed during the end of the 19th Century and bundled it all up into his book San Diego County Victorians, published by Save Our Heritage Organisation. He does a “must see” presentation of his photography and the history of early San Diego.
