Over 25 Chula Vista Rotarians and friends gathered at Feeding San Diego to help by sorting oranges for distribution. Under the leadership of Autumn Reid, we spent two hours processing over 9,000 lbs of oranges. Jan Mellinger observed that we are a little spoiled when we see that the oranges that come to Feeding San Diego for distribution to the the hungry are just as good as the oranges we buy in the grocery stores, but they just aren't as pretty and of similar size. Also, Kathi Mits observed that several Rotarians applied the "Matching Grant" philosophy by bringing not just themselves but matching their contribution by bringing friends and family. All in all, a great Rotary experience! The photos shown will be increased as others who took pictures provide them
