Dr. Rasha Roshdy
Amna Sanctuary

Join us to hear from one of our newest Rotarians, Dr. Rasha Roshdy, as she shares about the life-changing work of her nonprofit Amna Sanctuary.

"In Arabic, ‘Amna’ means safe. It was also the name of my grandmother, who was denied the opportunity of an education. Amna sanctuary is rooted in her spirit, with aims to provide immigrants and refugees with the tools for personal success she was never permitted."

The meeting will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m.

Watch a Video of President Eisenhower's Visit
From past presenter George Gillow. "I put a video of President Eisenhower’s visit to Chula Vista in 1960 on YouTube.  Follow this link to the video. It can also be found by searching on YouTube for “Eisenhower Chula Vista Visit” or “George Gillow.” I thought you could let your Rotary Club members know about the video. I am sure some of your members who were there that day will enjoy the video."
