Your Giving Is Making A Difference

Thanks to the generosity of our club member's pledges to our foundation, the board approved more than $11,000 in community grants this week! Approval from the Foundation Board is anticipated next.

• $100 to send a team from CV High and Olympian High to virtual Model UN
• $1,000 to Polio Plus
• $6,000 to build a house for a family in Tijuana through Project Mercy
• $1,000 to Project Mercy for Outhouse (thanks to designated gifts from two members)
• $480 for gift cards to veterans living in CV Veteran Home for the holidays
• $1,000 to St. Paul’s for their Senior Essential Needs Drive  (Jingle Mingle)
• $500 to South Bay Community Services to sponsor 10 children for their Hope for the Holidays” program
• $1,000 to support CV Police Pal for the holiday program

Our impact in the community is directly tied to the generous pledges our members have made to our foundation. I asked everyone to stretch a little this year to meet the growing need as a result of COVID -- and you all stretched! Thank you!
