MAKING AN IMPACT!
Thank you to the generosity of our members, our club awarded grants to the following organizations:
  • $1,000 to the Southwestern College Foundation to provide emergency needs to struggling students
  • $750 to Community Through Hope for COVID relief efforts

We were also able to partner with the District, Rancho Sante Fe Rotary, San Luis Rey Rotary, and Chula Vista Sunrise Rotary to provide a little more than $20k to Generate Hope for outside rehab projects for a human trafficking survivor transition house in Bonita.  Our contribution was $800 --- what a way to leverage collective impact in our giving!

Congratulations to Rotary District 5340 (our District!)
Last year's Rotary International President Mark Maloney awarded District 5340 the 2019-2020 Rotary Citation.  Our District is one of 93 worldwide to receive this prestigious award. Despite the challenging year, District Governor Marta Knight (2019-2020) was recognized for her leadership and inspiration to our clubs, guiding them to find innovative ways to connect their members, communities, and the world.
