Who is transitioning to the BEST role in Rotary (Past President)?
Dearest Rotarians,
It has been truly a pleasure to serve as your Club President this year! We made it through the pandemic of a lifetime, and I have missed all of your real-life faces. Thank you to everyone who continued to log in each week and everyone who humored me by participating in the Question of the Week networking time.
Before we moved remote, our club was averaging 25 in attendance at weekly meetings. I'm proud that most of the time we exceeded those numbers this year and we were able to welcome new members too! I've also loved getting to know so many of our members on a deeper level and feeling the support of every club member as we navigated this virtual world together.
I am looking forward to seeing you all --- like really seeing you! --- at this Friday's Installation/Outstallation. It is not too late to rsvp (see below).
As I close out my last communication, I would like to do it in the manner in which I closed out every meeting --- with an inspirational quote.
Thank you to my Rotary family for a wonderful year!
