Rotarians at Work Day
Apr 27, 2024

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, Rotary District 5340 Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force will be having a work morning at a local recovery home in the South Bay.

We will be working inside the house (cleaning and repair), and in the yard, improving landscaping and providing needed clean-up. These work events are vital to support the facility and to show the residents that people can be kind. No special skills are needed - just a good spirit and willingness to work.

If you are interested, please contact Kimberly Schafer (kschafer108@gmail.com). Due to the need to keep the location confidential and a clear list of volunteers, each volunteer will need to contact Kim to sign up.

The location will be shared with volunteers in the week prior to April 27, and must be kept confidential.

Bike Assembly & Rodeo
Jun 08, 2024 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Our popular Bike Assembly is back! We'll be assembling 107 bikes 8 am to 12 noon at the Loma Verde Aquatic Center. Bring flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches if you have them.

We need volunteers to assemble the bikes and take care of trash and recyling afterward. We also need help at our Rotary Booth at the Bikre Rodeo and community fair in the afternoon. Those with bike knowledge can also train with Circulate San Diego to help with the bike rodeo.

The bike rodeo will take place between 1-4 p.m. with Circulate San Diego, and include swim lessons, hands-only CPR training, car-seat safety, community booths and more!
