Over forty Rotarians and friends gathered to help prepare and serve a dinner at Ronald McDonald House the evening of December 14. This is an event that we have been doing for several years under the leadership of Gary Bryant. The Southwestern Choir performed a Christmas program. We had visiting Rotarians from New Hampshire and friends of theirs from Austria participating. It was a great evening of service especially to those going through traumatic times with the health of their children. - See more at: http://chulavistarotary.org/PhotoAlbums/2016-ronald-mcdonald-house#sthash.dJf6iaqu.dpuf

This year we had several new participants in building a home for a family in Tijuana.  Under the leadership of Carmen Sandoval, the home was assembled, painted and presented in one day.  Again, we had the expert guidance of folks from Project Mercy.  They did all the site selection, family screening and they supervised the actual construction.  By the way, part of the deal is the construction of a bathroom facility.  We have been doing this for several years.  It is one of the best "hands-on" project we do.
