WELCOME TO THE ROTARY CLUB OF CHULA VISTA

Feeding San Diego   Contributed $1,500 to purchase food, dry goods and perishables, which will be distributed to drive-thru distribution centers, launching regional emergency distribution sites, and working with community partners and school districts to provide meals for children and families impacted by school closures.

Southwestern College  Contributed $1,400 to the Southwestern College Cares Emergency Grant Program to support financial grants to students who have lost jobs or other sources of income.

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church  Contributed $1,750 to support food Project Hand, and emergency assistance food pantry run by Lutheran Social Services. We also helped transport bulk food items from the San Diego Food Bank to the church for distribution to families in need.

WE ARE PEOPLE OF ACTION

Every day, in our communities and around the world, our neighbors face tough challenges — conflict, disease, and lack of clean water, health care, education, and economic opportunity.  Rotarians have a vision of what’s possible for their neighbors. We mobilize other leaders and experts to take action and see it through.
